Double Common Bile Ducts with one Anomalous Insertion into the Stomach

Abstract
One case of congenital double common bile ducts with separate openings into the stomach and 2nd portion of the duodenum is presented with review of literatures.
A 22 years old thin and emaciated male patient suffering from the intermittent epigastric and RUQ pain with fluctuating jaundice for about one month was proven to have double common bile ducts on exploration.
The common bile duct, which located at normal position, was dilated with an impacted stone. The accessory bile duct was draining the left lobe of the liver¢¥ into the cardiac¢¥ portion of the stomach. This hepatogastric duct was about 4.0cm long in, length and 5mm wide in diameter and was visualized on flat plate of abdomen by pneumogram effect of the biliary tree.
Cholecystectomy, choledocholithotomy and resection of accessory bile duct were done, and the patient was recovered uneventfully.
